Product: Photosmart C4780
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Hi I have a C4780 in my home office. I have looked on the HP website for the printer drivers but cannot find anything. Can someone please advise how I get the compatible driver?

 

Currently the printer is connected to 2 windows laptops and works fine so I do not want to replace it but need to use it with the Mac.

 

Look forward to getting some help.

Hi,

The drivers for your printer are available via Apple Software Update.

 

Follow these steps to install its drives via System Preferences:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04510394

 

Next install the latest HP Easy Scan below to get full scan functionality, it will be installed within the Applications folder:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-easy-scan-1_...

Hi Shlomi, thank you for your solution to my problem. The driver is now installed and the printer working perfectly with my iMac.
