Hi all. I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad and picked up an HP Officejet 4215 all-in-one. When I first connected it to my computer it worked great. Then it started hesitating and when I checked the device manager, it says driver not available. I've restarted, checked my updates and tried downloading a driver from HP but cannot find anything. For that driver it does not give me a Windows 10 OS option. Any suggestions? I did replace the ink cartridges with off brand refills in case that might matter.

@Harriet26, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP Officejet 4215 All-in-One Printer series supports up to Windows 8.1.
However, there are a couple of workarounds you can try:
Use Windows Built-In Driver
HP recommends using the Windows built-in driver for older printers like the Officejet 4215. Here's how:
- Unplug the printer from your computer.
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click Add a printer or scanner.
- Wait for Windows to search. If it doesn’t find your printer, click “The printer that I want isn’t listed.”
- Choose “Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings”.
- Select the USB port (if connected via USB).
- In the manufacturer list, choose HP, and then look for a similar model like HP Deskjet 450 or HP Officejet 4300 series.
- Complete the installation and test print.

I hope this helps.
