Hi @Marsha05,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6052e printer isn't connecting to print, try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check the Printer's Status

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and there are no error messages or blinking lights on its control panel.
  • Make sure the printer is within range of your WiFi router.

Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer, WiFi router, and the device you are printing from (e.g., computer or smartphone).

Reconnect the Printer to WiFi

Use the HP Smart App (available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android):

  1. Open the app and select Set Up a New Printer.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your WiFi network.
  3. Ensure you're using the correct WiFi password.

Alternatively, reconnect using the WiFi Setup Mode:

  1. Reset the printer’s network settings by holding down the WiFi button and the Cancel button together for 5 seconds.
  2. Once the WiFi light begins blinking, use the HP Smart app or your computer to reconnect the printer to WiFi.

Check Your Network

  • Ensure your WiFi is working and not set to a 5 GHz-only mode (the HP Envy 6052e supports 2.4 GHz networks).
  • Make sure the device you're printing from is on the same network as the printer.

Install or Update Drivers

  • Download and install the latest printer drivers from the HP Support website.
  • For macOS or Windows, ensure the HP Smart app or HP Easy Start is installed and configured.

Use the Printer’s Direct Connection

  • Use WiFi Direct if the printer won’t connect to your network:
    1. Enable WiFi Direct on the printer by pressing the Information button and the WiFi Direct button together.
    2. Connect your computer or mobile device to the printer's WiFi Direct network.

Perform a Factory Reset

  • Reset your printer to factory defaults if issues persist:
    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. Press and hold the Back button and the Power button for about 10 seconds.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions for reconfiguration.

Test the Connection

  • Print a test page from the HP Smart app or the printer’s settings to confirm the connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
