Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I am in my computer settings Mac 13.6.1 (22G313). When I asked to add printer (brand new) the computer recognized the HP DeskJet 4100, but when I ask it to "add" it endlessly runs "setting up HP DeskJet 4100 Series" and never adds. The Printer is on and connected to wifi and so is the computer. Thanks!
