Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Just got a new HP Envey desktop machine (with Windows 11) and can't get access to the printer software for my old HP Deskjet 6840 to load it.  The installation software on the original CD won't load because it can't find Microsoft Explorer and trying to download the software from HP gets a forbidden error.  I noticed there are no drivers yet for the 6840 to work on Windows 11--does this mean it wouldn't work?
Sorry, I'm really a newbie who just wants to keep using my old Deskjet 6840.

Any help would be appreciated!

You can download and install any of the following drivers:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/pcl6-usb-x32-7.0.1.24923.exe

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ps-usb-x32-7.0.1.24923.exe
