@BonShis, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet 8022 can scan but not print because it shows as offline, try these steps:
Restart Devices
>Turn off your printer, computer, and router.
>Wait 1-2 minutes, then turn them back on.
Check Printer Connection
>If using Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
>Print a Wireless Network Test Report:
>Tap the Wireless icon on the printer.
>Select Settings > Print Reports > Wireless Network Test Report.
>If disconnected, reconnect through Settings > Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
>If using USB, try a different USB port or cable.
Set Printer to Online
>Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
>Right-click your HP OfficeJet 8022 and select See what’s printing.
>Click Printer in the top menu and uncheck "Use Printer Offline".
Restart Print Spooler
>Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
>Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and choose Restart.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
>Uninstall Printer:
>Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
>Right-click your printer and select Remove device.
>Download and Install HP Smart:
>Go to HP Support and download the latest drivers for your printer.
>Install using HP Smart and follow the on-screen setup.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
