@marcoe1, the connectivity seems fine. Reinstalling the printer using AirPrint driver may resolve this issue.
1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
4.) Click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
6.) Try to print.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi @
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. As you are able to print from other devices, the printer seems to be working fine.
What is the error when you try printing?
Let us check the connectivity.
- Make sure the printer and the MAC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- The wireless status menu on your Mac should also give us quite a lot of information that would help us identify the issue. You can press and hold the option key on your keyboard and click the WiFi icon to get detailed information.
Perform a PING test
- Obtain the IP address of the printer by clicking on the Wireless icon on the printer
- On the MAC Go to Spotlight > search for Network utility > select Ping tab > enter the IP address of the printer in the box
- Check the second box that says Send only > 10 pings
- Click on ping > Check the results at the end if any packets are lost
- Note: There should be 0% packet loss, share the results in your next post.
If there is any packet loss, restart the network devices.
- Turn off the Router, Printer, and the computer/ mobile devices.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
- Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
- Turn on the computer/ mobile devices.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks KUMAR0307.
I am on the 2.4 G network. I don't get any error messages when I print, but I do get an incomplete status message string. There is not a percentage of completion provided anymore.
Here are the status messages: (1) Processing pages 1,2, etc, (2) Incoming, (3) Looking for printer, (4) Printing...waiting for job to complete. At this point there is usually a percentage of completion, instead the status messages stop and there is no printing.
PING results are below - no packets lost.
Ping has started…

Hello,
Previous solution worked.
Back again on a different problem - now I can't print from any device (MacBook, iMac, iPhone, iPad, etc). The printer status just shows "printing..." but nothing prints.
Please advise - thanks,
Jim
