I do my work on an Apple iMac running the latest software, macOS Big Sur v11.4. I'm trying to update the firmware on my LaserJet P1102W. It's currently at 20110826. That might well be the original firmware!
I've downloaded the v5.1 drivers for MacOS, but they won't install. I get the cryptic (and useless) error message: "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."
I've already looked at several of the community requests for firmware updates, without success. None of the links that I found there work for me. They all start with "'https://ftp.hp.com/"

Hi Betty0610,
From previous messages on this forum, there is newer firmware for my printer, but there's no way in macOS 11 to load it onto the printer. Here's my followup question: Is there some way to load new firmware from Windows? If so, I can probably find someone running windows who can get it onto my printer.
Thanks
