Can we enable secure printing on Non secure printer like HP LaserJet 1606dn or other home printers

Can you please elaborate on what type of secure printing you are looking for. Are you speaking of encrypted data stream between work station and printer or are you looking for a pull print solution where the job is stored on the printer until the user retrieves it with a pin code? Any printer that is supported by HP UPD will support encrypted data stream. A quick check https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4952109-2831856-16 shows that the 1606 is only supported by the older PCL 5 UPD driver which is quite old now.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by marking my post as an accepted solution. Clicking "yes" on "was this reply helpful" also increases the chances that this solution will help others.
