HP DeskJet 2752 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have canceled instant Ink maybe a year ago for this printer.    On my account it says that I don't have instant Ink subscription on this printer   I purchased new cartridges.  HP Smart now tells me that I need to install Instant Ink cartridges.

It is so frustrating to work with Hp software.

Hi @BraafPaard,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2752 All-In-One Printer after canceling an instant print job. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If you're using a USB connection, make sure the cable is securely plugged into both the printer and the computer. If you're using a wireless connection, ensure that the printer is connected to the correct network.

Restart Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute or two, and then plug it back in. Turn the printer back on and check if it starts printing.

Check Print Queue: There might be a print job stuck in the print queue from the canceled instant print. To clear the print queue:

  • On Windows: Go to "Control Panel" > "Devices and Printers," right-click on your printer, and select "See what's printing." Delete any pending print jobs.
  • On macOS: Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners," select your printer, and click on "Open Print Queue." Delete any pending print jobs.

Restart Computer: Sometimes, issues can arise due to temporary glitches on your computer. Restart your computer and try printing again.

Reinstall Printer Driver: If the issue persists, it might be related to a corrupted printer driver. Uninstall the printer driver, download the latest driver from the official HP website, and install it again.

Check for Updates: Ensure that your printer firmware and software are up to date. Visit the HP support website and search for updates for your specific printer model.

Paper and Ink/Toner: Check if there's enough paper in the paper tray and that the ink or toner cartridges have sufficient levels. Sometimes, printers might not print if these supplies are running low.

Test with Different Document: Try printing a different document or file to determine if the issue is specific to the canceled print job or a general problem.

Reset Printer Settings: If none of the above steps work, you might consider resetting your printer to its default settings. Refer to your printer's manual or HP's official support resources for guidance on how to do this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for your answer.  However, I don't think you understood the issue.  I don't have an Instant Ink account on this printer anymore.  Yet, it tells me to insert instant ink cartridges.
