Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently uninstalled the Basic Device Software for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 in an effort to try and correct an issue that I was having with the printer. However, I cannot complete the reinstallation of the software. Every time I try to install the software, I get to the end where it asks me to register the product. When I re-enter my information, however, it says that the service is unavailable, and it will not go any further. If I close out of the installer and double-click the printer icon on the desktop, it tries to walk me through the installation and process all over again.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

FYI - I was able to successfully reinstall the "Basic Device Software" for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 by using the installer at the below link instead of the installer available on the HP Support website:

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJP8020/OJP8020_Full_WebPack_49.3.4475.exe
