I have just moved to Sky Broadband but cannot connect my HP Deskjet F4500 to the new WiFi network.
I previously added printer to the network by using the Traditional Wireless Connection Method using the product Software CD but this no longer works ad Flash Player is now obsolete.
The Use Push Button (PBC) Method does not work.
And the PIN Method cannot work as this printer does not have a control panel.
I cannot physically connect printer to the router as the printer does not have an ethernet port and the router does not have a USB port.
And it seems you cannot add a printer to a network using HP Smart.
The only way I can use the printer is with a physical USB connection to a computer - ie not networked.
I really require the printer on my network.

Welcome to the HP Community --
As you know, there are no longer any Full Driver printer software options listed for this printer.
Product Review found dated 2010.
True - HP Smart likely cannot help connect this vintage printer.
Software and drivers for HP Deskjet F4500 All-in-One Printer series
Operating System = Windows / Windows 10
At this writing, the choice is offered to install the Built-in Windows Print Drivers to restore basic print function.
Perhaps the LPT port option (selected during the Driver setup) will suffice to allow the printer to connect using Wireless.

Old driver is Gone
We see occasional questions about printers for which full driver software installation packages are no longer listed for current (or older) versions of Windows.
The software for this printer is no longer listed as available from HP.
When available for the printer and a supported version of Windows, install the Windows built-in print drivers.
When installed, the Windows print driver provides basic print function.
