I used the Control Panel to uninstall my HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-in-One printer software; it was not a clean uninstall. I could not delete the C:\Program Files\HPPrintScanDoctor folder. Please advise.

If you have attempted to uninstall the HP Print and Scan Doctor through the Control Panel and have been unable to remove the C:\Program Files\HPPrintScanDoctor folder, follow these steps to manually delete the folder and ensure a clean uninstallation:
Stop Related Processes:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Look for any processes related to HP Print and Scan Doctor and end them.
Uninstall Using HP Uninstall Utility:
- Go to the Windows Start menu, click Programs or All Programs, and then HP.
- Click the product name, and then click Uninstall Product Software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Manual Folder Deletion:
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\.
- Right-click the HPPrintScanDoctor folder and select Delete.
- If you are prompted with an Administrator permission dialog, confirm the action.
Delete Registry Entries:
- Open the Windows Start menu, type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HP and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HP in the Registry Editor.
- Delete any entries related to HP Print and Scan Doctor. Be cautious with modifying the registry, as incorrect changes can cause system issues.
Clear Temporary Files:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type temp and press Enter.
- Delete all files in the temporary folder.
- Repeat the process by typing %temp% in the Run dialog box and deleting all files in that folder.
Restart Your Computer:
- Restart your computer to ensure any remaining files or processes are cleared.
