I would like to add a custom paper size. I've been through all of the help pages but can't find an answer. i tried to add a paper size by going to Settings, Printer & Scanners, select the printer, and click Manage. Then I select Printing Preferences, click on the Paper/Quality tab and hit the down arrow under Media (HP Advanced Photo Papers). I understand there is supposed to be a "custom" option there, but it doesn't exist when I do that.
Do I need to go into Regedit to add something to my HP Officejet Pro? I do have TWO HP Officejet Pro 8620 printers on that list. Should I delete one of them?
Thanks!

I have a problem that is not likely a printer problem. I just changed my router and tried to connect my printer to my laptop and desktop. I tried using the setup program on the HP support website, but it did not work. When I go through the setup it sees my printer on the network but cannot connect to it. I tried wireless, wired and USB direct to the printer. None worked.
Strangely, hooking the printer up to my laptop went without a hitch and works fine.
I did manage to get the printer to connect to my desktop using the Add a Printer in Printers & Scanners, but even though I can print with my desktop to the printer, I cannot scan from the printer to the desktop.
Any ideas? I worked on this for hours yesterday before giving up. So now if I want to scan something I scan to a thumbdrive and carry it to the desktop. Not
