My printer has been working for a year or so. When I revisit the web interface again, I can't change any settings. When I browse to the IP address of the printer, everything looks normal until I click on the apply button. The browser error is that the page cannot be found. It's the same whenever I try to change any settings.
My firmware isn't up to date but I couldn't find the option to update it. The HP Smart app also works normally but doesn't have an option to update the firmware.
I did upgrade my WIFI router recently but the fancy security features are not turned on. It can't be affecting that a webpage can't be found, can it?
I have Chromebooks. If I remember correctly they can't configure the printer when connected with a USB cable directly. I think Windows and Macs can. But it's a hassle if the web interface doesn't work.

Hi @terence8,
I'd like to help!
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Also, refer to this document for help-Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
