I own HP ENVY INSPIRE 7920e printer but I cannot complete the WiFi LAN setup. I have tried repeatedly using HP's smart printer and print and scan doctor apps. I have more than once factory reset to printer. I have rebooted my computer many times when requested to do this. Although the apps claim it has been set up it has not. It will not print or scan anything including test prints both from my computer and direct from the printer screen. It is found on my home WiFi LAN via Windows and via Apple AirPrint (IOS) but nothing ever prints. Scans also do not work.

I see that you are facing printing issues with your HP ENVY Inspire 7920e All-In-One Printer wherein you get a message that the set-up is incomplete.
Please follow the steps from this document. to set up the unit using HP smart app. (Click on the word document to open the web page).
If you want to set up using HP Plus, then please follow this document.
