HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

Hello!

We recently lost power. When the power came back on, I can no longer connect the LaserJet printer to my Mac via USB. It works fines wirelessly, and the thumbdrive port prints without issue. When I go to the Mac's "Printers & Scanners" page in system settings and try to add a new printer, the HP doesn't show up in the list. It has been working fine via USB since I purchased it last August until now.

I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.3. I have tried restarting the printer, the Mac, updated the printer firmware, used a new USB cable, used a different USB hub, and tried connecting the cable directly to the back of the Mac. No luck.

Please advise. Thanks!

Try resetting the printer.

If that does not work try any other laptop or computer.  if the device is not recognized then a hardware problem
