Step 1: Ensure Printer and iPhone are on the Same Network
- Check Printer Connection: Make sure your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network. You can check the printer's network status through the control panel or the HP Smart app.
- Connect iPhone to Wi-Fi: Ensure that your iPhone is also connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.
Step 2: Download the HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
- Install HP Smart App: Download the HP Smart app from the App Store if you haven't already.
- Open the App: Launch the app on your iPhone.
Step 3: Add the Printer
- Add Printer in HP Smart: In the HP Smart app, tap on the "+" (plus) sign or "Add Printer" to search for your printer.
- Select Your Printer: When your printer appears, tap on it to connect. Follow any prompts to complete the setup.
Step 4: Print from iPhone

- Share Option: Tap the Share icon (a square with an upward arrow).
- Select Print: Scroll down and select Print.
- Choose Printer: Select your HP ENVY 6052e printer from the list.
- Print Options: Adjust any print settings (like number of copies) and tap Print.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Printer Not Found: If your printer doesn’t appear in the HP Smart app or print options, ensure that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Firmware Update: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware. You can update it through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Check AirPrint: Ensure that AirPrint is enabled on your printer. It should work automatically with compatible apps.
- Wi-Fi Direct: If you are having trouble with your Wi-Fi connection, you can try using Wi-Fi Direct to connect directly to the printer without a network. You can find the Wi-Fi Direct settings in your printer's control panel. HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)
