Hello,

My M148fdw cannot connect to my new network. How to reset to factory settings, so I can connect? Thank you

To factory reset your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the printer if it is not already on.
  2. Access the Setup Menu:
    • On the printer’s control panel, press the Setup button (it looks like a wrench or gear icon).
  3. Navigate to Service:
    • Use the arrow buttons to scroll to Service and press OK.
  4. Restore Defaults:
    • Scroll to Restore Defaults and press OK.
    • Confirm the reset by selecting Yes.

The printer will restart and reset to its factory settings. This process will erase all custom settings, so you’ll need to reconfigure your printer after the reset.
