Hi all,

 

I am currently using a Samsung M2885FW printer at my workplace. It is integrated into our AD and GPO so it can be assigned to user workstations. However it requires Samsung Easy Printer Manager to scan as the address book only allows Fax entries. Among a list of issues this program seems to have the most debilitating has just shown itself. The printer shows offline to Easy Printer Manager, however it is online to the workstation, and the wider network. Meaning it cannot scan as it basically daily needs the Scan to PC feature to be re-enabled.

 

I've tried rebooting both the printer and workstation to no changes, I cannot delete this printer from easy manager either the delete button is simply greyed out. I have also tried uninstalling the app both by the apps and features function and the in folder uninstall .exe, but the printer is saved in it even after reinstall. I assume there is a cache outside of Programfiles(X86)>Samsung>SamsungEasyPrinterManager but I can't find it.

 

Has anyone ran into this issue before? Regardless, if anyone has an idea of how to fix the problem I would greatly appreciate it.
