I try to install full drivers and I get an unknown error, no solution is available.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
I just keep going in circles.

It is not necessary to add a printer to your HP Account Dashboard to install the printer software.
The printer software and the Operating System must be be compatible -- the system need not be registered.
Adding older devices (to your HP Account) after the warranty expires, might -- or might not - work.

Printer - Full Feature Software
HP Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software - supports printing and scanning from the web, printing in in other software and programs (for example, Word), and provides access to the full range of Printing Preferences / Shortcuts. The full driver generally adds at one, possibly least one, possibly two shortcuts to the Desktop: Printer Assistant, HP Scan Assistant, and/or HP Scan.
NOTES:
HP Scan is not installed if the printer does not support Scan.
The Printer Assistant is not installed if the type of full driver software does not support it. If the printer model includes built-in Fax hardware, the software supports the setup and use of the Fax driver. No Sign-in required.
Reinstalling?
- Uninstall existing full driver printer software from Programs and Features.
- If your printer includes a separate "help" in Programs and Features, uninstall that, too.
- Restart the computer and log in.
- If the printer is connected to the computer using a printer USB cable, remove / disconnect the cable before loading the software.

If / When asked, opt for the Full Driver / Full Software to be installed.
If using a USB cable, (re)connect the cable when instructed, near the end of the installation.
After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in.

he installation of the full driver generally adds at least one or more shortcuts to the Desktop.
Note: Printer Assistant, HP Scan Assistant, and HP Scan are dependent on printer model and supported software options.
- Printer Assistant – Where still supported as part of the full driver printer software
- HP Scan Assistant – For those printers that no longer provide the Printer Assistant
- HP Scan – Shortcut on Desktop named for the printer model
- When installed, HP Universal Scan software adds a separate self-named “HP Scan” shortcut

I also cannot install HP Doctor to see if I can fix the problem.
Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
Since HPPSdr.exe never downloads, I cannot run it.
This appears to be the download link but I cannot download the file.

I found an alternate file location at LO4D.com and scanned the file with MS defender, it was OK, and I ran it.
No improvement so far. But I have HP Print and Scan Doctor installed and I installed Windows 11 Update / Repair version.
Let's see what happens.

I still cannot install the full driver
Full_Webpack-40.15.1230_1-OJ8710_Full_Webpack.exe
It searches for a fix but says no solution can be found.
It recommends reibooting and reinstalling - and I've done that maybe 5 times already.
I have also in the past gotten a notice about Error code 2753.but maybe that was related to downloading the HPPSdr.exe file that I could NOT download from the HP.com site but which I could download from the LO4D.com software archive.

I've not used the Doctor software / app for years.
I cannot comment on what it does or does not find or do.
Sure and the Doctor might still be usable.
