Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

Hello,

I cannot seem to find a way to print PDF's in a booklet form using the smart app. I have tried to download any new drivers or updates but with no success. Is there any other way I could print it?

Thank you

HP Smart for Windows can indeed print in booklet format, though I have never seen Windows in "S" mode and cannot test whether the application works as I would expect.

Example setup of when it does work (print booklet using HP Smart):

No Joy?

You could try updating / uninstalling-reloading the HP Smart application.  It is possibly the application is just in need of a clean install / update.

Ramblings and Muttering...

The HP Smart App may not be fully compatible with the limited Windows in S mode (unlikely to be the case) and / or the printer (possibly five years old by now) may not be fully compatible with HP Smart (possible but I have no way to test).

The recommended Full Feature Software is available for your printer - but you cannot make use of it using Windows in S mode ("S" mode only allows installation of software from the Windows store).

It is possible the issue is related to not having Adobe Reader DC PDF software.  Sounds unlikely, though it is true that printer software insists on having Reader DC installed.  You are not using the Feature Software (printer software) so the Reader DC software may not be a factor.  ??

I do not know whether the Adobe Reader Touch application (available in the Windows Store) is something you you use.  The System Requirements appear to indicate that the application won't run on "S" mode.  ??

It is possible there is another application in the Windows Store that you could use for PDF / booklet printing.  ?

So, Not sure - Printer is older and Windows is not old, but it is restricted ("S" mode).
