Hello @Deskjet4322, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Deskjet 4322 printer.

We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.

The “Unable to print. Rendering failed” message can occur when printing large files from Windows using HP’s Universal Print Application (UPA). Follow these steps in order and test printing after each step.

1. Retry the print job

  1. Cancel the current print job.
  2. Send the print job again.

Network congestion during the first attempt can cause this error.

2. Split the document into smaller parts

  1. If the document is large (more than ~20 pages or ~15 MB), split it into smaller files.
  2. Try printing in sections (for example, 10–15 pages at a time).

3. Check your network type (for Wi‑Fi printers)

If your DeskJet 4322 is using Wi‑Fi:

  1. If it’s on a 2.4 GHz network, connect it to a 5 GHz Wi‑Fi network if available, or use an Ethernet cable (for models that support Ethernet).
  2. Try printing again.

4. Remove HP Universal Print Application and reinstall printer with older driver

Note: Removing HP UPA affects all printers using it, and its custom settings will be lost.

  1. On your Windows 11 PC, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
    - Find HP Universal Print Application and uninstall it.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
    - Select your HP printer and click Remove.

    Removing the printer
  3. Still in Printers & scanners, click Add device and wait for Windows to automatically discover and add the printer. - If you must add it manually, do not choose IPP Device as the port type.
  4. After Windows installs the driver, try printing again.

Have a great day!

I'm an HP Employee.
