I believe that the inabilty to print started after my 11/08/25 update of Win11 25H2.  I have deleted all HP apps from my Dell PC and removed the 8139e from the Printers & Scanners list.

After reinstalling the HP Smart software and adding the 8139e back, it sometimes indicates a status of "Idle".

When I attempt to print a document, the 8139e is not listed in the drop down list of availbale options. When I go back to the Printers & Scanners list, the status is "Driver is  unavailable'.  I have tried the above process at least four time, thinking that I might have missed a step, which is certinely still a possibility.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The issue appears to be resolved.   Another 25H2 update was downloaded yesterday. When a worked through another reload of the HP app, I encountered a prompted to download a universal driver app that I did not see on my previous reinstalls.

Some additional information that I forgot to include.  The printer is connected with WiFi.  Also, I can print to it from both my iPad and iPhone. While I thought that the issue was with Windows, that seems to make it a certainty.
