Hi @Vik48,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're unable to print from your MacBook to the HP LaserJet M125a, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and properly connected to the network (if using Wi-Fi) or directly to your Mac via USB.

Restart Devices

  • Restart both your printer and MacBook to refresh the connection.

Check Printer Status

  • On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Ensure that your printer is listed and does not show any error messages.
  • If the printer is offline, try right-clicking on it and selecting "Reset printing system" to re-add it.

Update Printer Drivers

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP LaserJet M125a. Install them on your MacBook.

Add Printer Manually

  • In System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, click the "+" button to add the printer manually.
  • Select your printer from the list, and ensure it uses the correct driver.

Check Print Queue

  • Open Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and check if there are any jobs in the print queue. If there are stuck jobs, clear the queue and try printing again.

Use HP Smart App

  • If you haven’t already, consider downloading the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store. It can help you manage the printer and troubleshoot issues.

Reset Printing System (if needed)

  • If all else fails, you can reset the printing system:
    • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    • Right-click (or Control-click) on the printer list and select "Reset printing system...". This will remove all printers and reset your printing system.

After performing these steps, try printing again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
