Trying to add my printer to my list of products for warranty and support. Does not except the serial number. Copied directly from the printer printed info as well as what is on the boxes label.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
If your HP printer's serial number is not being accepted when adding it to your list of products for warranty and support, try the following steps:

Double-Check the Serial Number

  • Make sure you are entering the serial number correctly. Common mistakes include:
    • Mixing up "0" (zero) and "O" (letter O)
    • Confusing "1" (one) and "I" (letter I)
    • Including extra spaces or characters

The solution does not apply. Was not a typo. The Serial number entered is what was printed by the printer and corresponds with the serial number on the box. I didn’t accept the solution.
