I know that my printer is no longer supported by Windows 10 .
I am trying to set up my printer to scan to email and it will not accept the setup for either my gmail or outlook email .
I do not have Office 365 just stand alone outlook mail
I am connected via USB port. It will scan to folder, and my computer.

Why is that?
The HP Officejet Pro 8630 is fully supported on Windows 10.
How exactly are you trying to scan to email? what exact steps are taken and what exact response is shown?

I am at a total loss . I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times ( using download ) . I have updated Windows 10 , . This was originally installed on Windows 8 . I have downloaded all drivers ( OJP8630-1828A failed ) . The new desktop icon appears , I downloaded Scan doctor ( will not work keeps saying printer is not installed . I have gone to www.2.hp.com ( will not open ) says ( in diagnostics ) that adapter is correct). I have sent a problem report to Microsoft and Windows.
Tried to set up email using HP software , says computer not installed ( I did add device to computer) .
Have tried http:// 192.168.223.1 , only opens a Bing , or Opera or Chrome home page!
Am exhausted! Help!
Now printer won't even print, keeps going to fax!

I have resolved all issues at this point except can't add PIN security code . but it IS scanning and sending to email.
I don't even remember all the steps I took to resolve , but did download HPPSdr & Printerdiagnostic10.Is the PIN security code a necessity? I'm just printing from home, don't even have Office 365 !
