HP Recommended

I have conected my desk jet 3760 printer to my wifi. My samsung phone is conected to my wifi. But i cannot conect my phone to my printer. I have done all the proper steps, but it just wont conect. I think it is something i need switched on or off on my phone. But i dont know what. As i am compleatly tech illiterate. Also i cannot contact hp, as i need to input my printers serial number. But it keeps saying it is the wrong number. But i do know it is the correct serial number i am putting in. Can anyone help, please!
