I have letter loaded in Tray 1 and A3 paper loaded in tray 2. When I select the A3 paper in Excel the printer will only select Tray 1 and give me the error that the printer has the wrong paper loaded in Tray 1. When I try to change the driver settings to have only A3 in both Trays I get the same error. How can I get this printer to auto select the correct tray?

Hi,
Do you refer to A4 or Letter? you mention 2 different sizes (A4 in the title, US Letter in the content).
Please open and close Try 1 and review the configuration prompt, ensure it lists your actual paper size in the tray, else click No or Edit and modify the Paper Size (for example, Did you load A4, Plain Paper? would indicate the correct setting, verify both the paper type and size.
Now open and close Try 2 and ensure it is set correctly to a3.
From the printer driver set the Source as Auto Select.
Also right-click the printer, select Printer Properties and open the Device settings, there ensure the correct paper size is set for each tray and then it should auto select the tray based on the output paper size of your print job.
Can you see any difference after verifying these settings?

Sorry for the confusion in the heading. It should have read A3. I have tried your suggested settings. The printer continues to select Tray 1 and gives me the error that I have the wrong paper size in tray one. The only way I can print A3 is to remove the the letter paper from tray 1 and insert A3 into tray 1.
