We have changed our home wifi network but the printer no longer relates to the computer. There is no text screen on this model of printer - I don't know where to start - I am in my 70's!!!

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
  • Are you getting any error messages or codes while connecting to the printer?

After replacing your router, you may need to reconfigure your printer to work with the new router settings.

While you respond to that, let's prepare your printer for a wireless connection, and restart the printer, printing devices, and router. 

  • Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds. 
  • Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer. 
  • Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from. 
  • Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer. 
  • Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 10 seconds. 
  • Reconnect the power cord to the router. Wait until Internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off. 
  • Turn on the computer. 

And also this printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK.
