Welcome to our HP Community forum!
For the HP LaserJet Pro M148dw, changing the language from Chinese to English can be done from the printer's control panel. Here’s how:
Method 1: Using the Printer’s Control Panel:
- Turn on the printer and ensure it's in a ready state.
- Access the Setup Menu:
- On the home screen, locate the Setup (wrench icon) and press it.
- If the menu is in Chinese, look for an icon resembling a wrench or gear.
- Navigate to Language Settings:
- Scroll through the menu options until you find a setting related to Language:
- And select it.
- Scroll through the menu options until you find a setting related to Language:
- Select English:
- From the list and confirm.
- Restart the printer to apply the changes.
Method 2: Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
If you cannot navigate the control panel, you can change the language using the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Find the printer’s IP address (printed on a configuration page or found in the printer's settings menu).
- Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network.
- Enter the printer’s IP address in the address bar and press Enter.
- In the EWS, look for Settings > System > Language and select English.
- Save the changes and restart the printer if necessary.
Would you like or need any additional troubleshooting steps?
Kind Regards,
