Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Press on the "i" (information) button) on the printer control panel. The page printed will have the claim code.
For help on setting up and using this printer, these resources will be useful:

HI
thank you for your email. I have tried that and there is no claim code.
It says that the printer is connected to the wireless network but but is not connected to the internet. It says the signal strength is excellent. I thought if it was connected to the wireless network it would be connected to the internet. Do you now how to get the printer connected to the internet if i have to do something different. This may be the problem.
DO you know how I can get web services enabled.
Many thanks

HI,
Which wireless network is the printer connected to? The home wifi network or the printer's network (Wifi Diect).
We'll suggest to do a wireless reset and use the HP Smart app to connect to the Home wireless network. Follow the steps below closely, the videos are for the specific printer model:
Reset/restore wireless:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHq_83JIy4A
Connect using HP Smart
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD1YaFTaSHs
Enabling Web services:
1. Once the printer is connected, print an info page and get the IP address of the printer.
2. Key into a web browser the IP address, if there is a security prompt, go to Advanced and proceed to printer IP address
3. Once inside the Printer EWS (Embedded Web Server) page, click on Web Services
Example of EWS page:
4. The PIN can be found on the Printed Information page (or you can find it in a label in the Cartridge Access area)
5. Enable Web Services if it is turned off
This document will be useful as well:
Hope that helps!

Many thanks for your email
It is connected to my home wifi. The printer is listed on my HP Smart account. I have already done the suggestions you have said below by getting the IP Address and putting that into my browser. The screenshot below that you have shown, on mine it says that it has been locked by the administrator. you will see below.
What do I need to do to get these enabled.
Also. When i print a printer information page out that gives me the IP address and it states that the printer is connected to the wireless network the same as my house wifi but then it says it is not connected to the internet. How do i get it connected to the internet. I thought with it being connected to my wifi it would be connected to the internet. I can print to the printer from webpages. I am very confused.
Many thanks for your help
Kind Regards

Hi,
Our printer also states that it is not connected to the internet. So there's not an issue.
Can't see the image posted.
However, click on the web services and when prompted for the PIN, that can be found on the info page.
Username : admin
Password : Printer PIN
Watch this example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XnBaSWJDfo
at time 2:21, it shows what to key in and where to find the PIN on the printer info page
Once entered, proceed to enable Web Services.
Hope that helps!

Hi @blondie678
We can see the pictures. Seems Web Services could be down. Have you tried again?
Also, you can sign up for Instant Ink via the HP Smart app:
1. Start HP Smart app on your phone
2. Tap on Account - Sign in or Sign up an account
3. Tap on the printer picture
4. Select Supported Supplies
5. Sign up Instant Ink
Hope that helps!

Many thanks
I have done that but I don't seem to have an email address present. I don't seem to have HP eprint anywhere so i wonder if thats why i don't have an email address showing. I will show you the screenshots
so i select supported supplies and this comes up but no email address.
I don't seem to have HP eprint setup. The printer is the following printer name not HP eprint. Could that be the problem why i don't have an email address?
How do i setup HP eprint?
I followed the instructions to setup and i can print ok using that printer name.
Many thanks for your help
