HP Color Laser MFP 178nwg
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've recently bought the color laser printer "HP Color Laser MFP 178nwg". Now I want to add the printer in the HP Smart App with the "claim code". But I cannot find the claim code. I've printed the "Network configuration report" page and all other internal test pages, but they do not contain the "claim code". Where can I find the claim code?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

The printer is not enabled with web services, so there is no option to print a claim code or enable web services.

Also, the EWS username by default is admin and the password is the same.

Refer to the article Mobile printing solutions for HP printers- https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2843711-2427128-16

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
