Color Laser 150a on Mac 10.15 Catalina

since the last installation s I have experienced problems in color settings and management.

By chance I have installed the 

Samsung CLP-680 Series driver 
and it seems to work perfectly, even better than the 620, as it prints faster and  it also recognise Supply levels.

I have recently purchased this printer and because they did not make it very clear when purchasing, I have brought this printer to work with a mac. I followed the advice on this forum and got the printer to work- fantastic! However, I have since gone to use this printer using the Samsung CLP-680 driver and it keeps stating that the printer is offline whenever I try and print anything. I have updated my macbook, tried to redownload the driver  and tried disconnecting and reconnecting the printer with no luck. I wonder if anyone had a solution for this at all.

I am extremely sorry but you are right. The same errors started to happen here. The printer is Off-Line CONSTANTLY.

Restarting the Mac sometimes works but not always making the issue problematic.

Unplugging and replugging creates a SPL_Error with a report sheet as follows:

SPL ERROR - Including Corrupted Dara

Position : 0x7498 (29848)

System: emu/SPL/SPL_image

Line: 118

Erro code: 11-1114

The issue is open 

CPL-680 driver works, as it communicate with the printer, gives information on supply levels and other features except... printing.

So, sooo sorry.

I've always recommended an HP product, but this time I am paying the due...

Whether a holy buddy would ever find the solution, I would pray him, please, to share it here…

Wow! The  trick to solve the issue with the Samsung driver CLP-620 Series is a great value for all Mac users! Thanks very much for posting it.It  has worked with Catalina and Mountain Lion - both Macs from the first moment.
I wonder why the infos by HP are so confusing. Even the manual is missleading. HP support and manual speak of wifi installation, which is not applicable....all this hould be changed soon. You nees this driver to make it work.

The 150nw also has the same issue - only works with AirPrint and even then just about sometimes.  In between paper jams.
