Initial setup went fine but all of a sudden my
new printer will not print. I tried to uninstall on my
mac and iPhone with hp smart app and then reinstall but neither device is able to find the printer to reinstall. Please help.

Are you getting any errors?
Try restarting your router and allow it a moment or two to restart, once your internet connection returns be sure to restart the printer too, and try again.
Note: if you may have multiple access points (extenders, repeaters, mesh, etc), be sure to restart all network devices before restarting the printer.
