My display suddenly stopped working. 

I tried updating the firmware but the file I can download from the HP site for this is damaged.

I tried unplugging and resetting the printer but alas.

Anyone?

Can anyone help please?

I just replaced the display but the new one also dont work.

Which seems to indicate the problem is somewhere else.

Any cables I should check?

If the display on your HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dw printer is black and it has suddenly stopped working, there could be several potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to diagnose and possibly resolve the problem.

 

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is working. You may want to try plugging the printer into a different outlet to rule out power issues.
  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check Display Brightness: It's possible that the display brightness is set to a very low level or turned off. Refer to your printer's manual to adjust the display brightness settings.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP website. Updating the firmware can often resolve software-related issues.
