Hi @Pal34
If your HP OfficeJet Pro printer is refusing to print in color despite having full color cartridges, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
-
Verify Print Color Settings:
-
Windows:
- Open Printers & Scanners from your computer’s settings.
- Click on your printer and select Printing preferences.
- Navigate to the Paper/Quality tab and ensure that Color is selected.
-
HP Smart App:
- Open HP Smart on your device.
- Choose Print Documents or Print Photos.
- On the preview screen, click More settings.
- Ensure Color is selected under Color mode.
-
-
Install Full Software and Drivers:
- Download and run HP Easy Start from HP’s Setup page.
- Follow the instructions to select Full Software and Drivers for installation.
- Ensure you complete all setup instructions.
-
Reinstall the Driver:
- Remove the existing printer driver from your computer.
- Download the latest driver from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Install the driver and check the printer settings again.
-
Check HP Smart App:
- Make sure the HP Smart app is updated to the latest version.
- Double-check all color settings within the app to ensure they are correctly set.
I hope this helps!
