Hi @Pal34

If your HP OfficeJet Pro printer is refusing to print in color despite having full color cartridges, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Verify Print Color Settings:

    • Windows:

      • Open Printers & Scanners from your computer’s settings.
      • Click on your printer and select Printing preferences.
      • Navigate to the Paper/Quality tab and ensure that Color is selected.
    • HP Smart App:

      • Open HP Smart on your device.
      • Choose Print Documents or Print Photos.
      • On the preview screen, click More settings.
      • Ensure Color is selected under Color mode.
  2. Install Full Software and Drivers:

    • Download and run HP Easy Start from HP’s Setup page.
    • Follow the instructions to select Full Software and Drivers for installation.
    • Ensure you complete all setup instructions.
  3. Reinstall the Driver:

    • Remove the existing printer driver from your computer.
    • Download the latest driver from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
    • Install the driver and check the printer settings again.
  4. Check HP Smart App:

    • Make sure the HP Smart app is updated to the latest version.
    • Double-check all color settings within the app to ensure they are correctly set.

I hope this helps!
