I am having a problem printing in color.   Only printing in black, noting I do makes it print in color.

Have reloaded install program but still no color.

Can you help?

Thanks

Hi @humpybong,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues then either the cartridge is faulty or the printer needs to be checked.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

All completed but no change.

I was able to print in color a document, but I think Windows 11 update caused this problem.

Just not sue which update so I can remove it.

It may be as simple as Windows playing with the driver setup. On your PC, go to control panel>devices and printers and right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Then click on the device settings tab and scroll down until you see device type and change it from auto or monochrome to color.

Finally got it to print in colour.  Tried everything suggested but did not work.

Uninstalled and reinstalled printer, uninstalled windows update and then noticed that printer was showing up twice.

One as MFP282-284 and one as MFP 283.

Deleted 292-284 and just set up the 283 as default printer and after a reboot of PC and printer all worked fine.

Many thanks for all help I received.
