Hi! I have an old Photosmart D110a that I haven't used in years. I'm trying to set it up with a new Mac and I'm totally lost. I only have black ink, no color cartridge, and really don't want to buy one but the only thing I can get the printer to say is "print cartridge missing or not detected." Since I can't seem to navigate away from this to wifi setup, I'm having trouble connecting the printer to the computer - when I go to add a printer nothing comes up, so I don't think the printer is on wifi. Can someone please help with this? Thank you!

@skmed, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
As per the message on the printer screen, you will have to insert both the ink cartridges in the printer for it to work. Once done, you will be able to bypass this error to connect the printer to the wireless network.
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
