HP Deskjet 3051A e-All-in-One Printer - J611h
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I am trying to connect my printer to my Mac. This printer was used for my home computer and it worked fine through usb connection. I am now trying to bring it to my work and use it through USB connection with my MAC but I cant get it to connect. I have gone to HP and downloaded the most up to date driver or whatever it had and that still didnt work. I cant use HP Smart because it wont pick up the printer for me to even go through the process of trying to add it that way. Its getting really frustrating. I just want to be able to simply print from USB connection because I am not allowed to connect personal wireless printers to work Wifi.

Hi @ZachyV10

1. You may need to connect a USB cable from your printer to Macbook before the installation.

2. Then, please download and install  HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:

3. And go to System Preferences > Printers then Add the printer.

* Click YES   to say thank you,

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.

Best regards,
