Hi everyone,

I have an HP Smart Tank 5100 series printer that I want to use at work, but I am not allowed to install any software on my work laptop due to IT restrictions. I’m hoping to connect my printer directly to my laptop with a USB cable. Will this allow me to print without needing to install the full software suite? If not, what drivers or files would be needed to make it work?

I've also tried connecting the printer through a router and my Android phone’s hotspot, but the printer wasn’t detected by the network. Does anyone have suggestions for workarounds? Ideally, I’d like a simple solution since I need this for work purposes, but I’m running into these limitations.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
