I have a USB b running to my Mac USB c and I'm trying to print.  Support website tells me there are no drivers for my Mac OS (10.15.7).  I have an ethernet connection (no wifi) running from my Mac via cat 7 cable.  When I did have wifi, I was printing fine from this same computer to same printer, so is it really a driver issue?

Hi @crimpharder,

I'd like to help!

What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?

Please print and Share the network configuration page -

1. From the Home screen, touch the right directional key, and then touch the Wireless icon.

2. On the Wireless Settings menu, use the down arrow to scroll through options and then touch Display Network Configuration or Print Wireless Test Report.

 Keep me posted.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
