Connecting Laser Jet Pro M15w to Modem

Good evening,

I am attempting to connect an HP Laser Jet Pro M15w to a modem that does not have a WPS button.  I have tried using HP Smart without success.  HP Smart recognizes the printer as it was connected to a different Internet service, but now shows that it is offline.  The wireless light on the printer is blinking.  I hope I have provided sufficient details -- setting up a printer has never been something I could do.   Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Make sure the printer is ready with a solid power light, press cancel if the printer sleeps.

Make sure there is no USB cable connected to the back of the printer.

Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 20 seconds, as soon as the Attention Light starts blinking with the power light, release the button and allow the printer to restart.

On your device, make sure it is connected to your home network and that you can see an additional nearby wireless network starting with HP-Setup (Just ensure it is there, do not connect to it).

Open HP Smart and click the Plus sign, then click on add Printer and follow the steps on screen to connect the printer to your wireless network.
