I’ve changed my WiFi and have my printer in WiFi set up mode (WiFi symbol flashing, purple lights in the front of the printer) but it won’t allow me to connect my printer to the WiFi. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting walkthroughs and they either do nothing or I can’t get all the way through them because the HP Smart app says the printer is offline or undetectable.

Hi @KaylaLinkous ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble connecting your HP ENVY Pro 6452 printer to your new WiFi network. Let's try a few steps to troubleshoot this:
- Ensure Correct Network Name and Password: Double-check that you're entering the correct WiFi network name (SSID) and password during the setup process. Sometimes errors in entering this information can prevent a successful connection.
- Restart the Printer and Router: Turn off both your printer and WiFi router. Wait for a minute, then turn them back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues by resetting the network connection.
- Move Closer to the Router: Sometimes, weak WiFi signals can cause connection problems. Try moving the printer closer to your WiFi router during the setup process to ensure a strong signal.
- Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup): If your router supports it, you can try using the WPS method to connect your printer to the WiFi network. This involves pressing the WPS button on your router and then on your printer within a certain timeframe.
- Reset Network Settings on the Printer: You can reset the network settings on your printer to factory defaults and then try setting up the WiFi connection again. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, firmware updates include fixes for connectivity issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Use a Wired Connection: If all else fails, you can temporarily connect your printer to your router using an Ethernet cable. This can help bypass any WiFi-related issues during setup.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
