Hope you can help, I have just recently been give a HP Envy 4520 and a HP DeskJet 3762. After a little fumbling around I managed to upload and get both printers to work on my PC.
The problem I have is that I can only get them to work individually. Whenever one is on, the PC does not recognise the other, and vise a versa.
Can you please tell me how I can get both printers to work on the same system.
Do I need another device or program to link the 2 together?
Or change some IP address?
Look forwardto hearing from someone
Thanks

Hi @Scaramouch2023,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're experiencing a conflict between the two printers when both are connected to your PC. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Update printer drivers: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for both printers. Visit the HP support website and search for the respective printer models (HP Envy 4520 and HP DeskJet 3762) to download and install the most up-to-date drivers.
- Connect one printer at a time: Disconnect both printers from your PC and connect only one printer at a time. Test each printer individually to ensure they work properly when connected individually. This will help determine if the issue lies with the printers themselves or with the PC's configuration.
- Check USB ports and cables: Make sure you're using different USB ports for each printer. Additionally, verify that the USB cables are functioning correctly. Try using different USB cables or swapping the cables between the printers to rule out any issues with the cables.
- Configure printer settings: Open the Control Panel on your PC and navigate to the "Devices and Printers" section. Right-click on each printer, select "Printer properties" or "Printer preferences," and check the settings for any conflicts. Make sure the printers are set as the default devices.
- Reboot your PC: Sometimes, a simple system reboot can resolve conflicts and refresh the device connections. Restart your PC after connecting both printers and check if they are recognized simultaneously.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
