From one day to another, 23rd October, I was not able to print from Mac book. I download the software again but still the same error of corrupted or missing software. I tried on another laptop and worked so it is actually my hp printer with my Mac.
what is the solution of that? Are hp printers not longer compatible with Mac? So no more HP printers?
Any support will help, I wouldn’t like to get rid of my printer.
Thank you!

After days of desperation and research, I found the solution:
1. From the library go to the printers folder.
2. Open the printers folder. Choose Edit>select all, which selects all items in the Printers folder
3. Choose File>new folder with Selection, which puts all of the selected items onto a new folder named New Folder With Items. To save storage space, you can delete this folder.
Then go to System Preferences and add the printer. Download the software and ready to print.
Restarting the computer might help.
