I purchased a new Checkbuilder Pro 3 program, today, because my previous Checkbuilder Pro (Version 1) no longer worked on my new iMacPro computer. After installing the new download and setting up my checks, I tried to print a new batch of checks (I am using a HP Officejet 5740 printer). The checks came out at 50% scale. I changed the scale to 100%, and tried printing again. It still printed at 50%. I changed the scale repeatedly, with no success. I called Apple Support and they were not able to change it either. When I print any Apple program print jobs, they come out at 100% scale. Apple feels the issue lies with the program or my printer. Can you help me? I did not have this problem with my old Checkbuilder Pro program. I have also contacted Support at Checkbuilder Pro. Thanks for your attention.

Hi,
Print Scaling is managed by the software used to print, not by the print driver, and also from your description, it seems as only the specific program scales the printing this way while other programs use the same driver without any similar issue.
I suggest contacting your program's support, they are most familiar with their program configuration options, probably better than either Apple or HP:

I would also refer to the following FAX section which might be applicable for your issue (maybe not applicable at all, but worth verifying):

PRINT ON PRE-PRINTED CHECKS?
Q. Can I print on my pre-printed checks?
A. Maybe! CheckBuilderpro can print on pre-printed checks as long as your checks are in sheet form (8.5×11). Personal size checks must have perforations at 2 7/8″ intervals, 3 per page. Business checks must have perforations at 3.5″ intervals and can be either 3 checks per page or voucher style with check at top, check at middle or check at bottom. Business checks must be in a Quickbooks or AccountEdge format. Personal checks must me in a Quicken format. You cannot print on checks like you’d tear out of a checkbook. If your pre-printed voucher checks use a grid, like for accounts payable or payroll, then this will *not* work for you. We strongly encourage you to try our demo to see if this will work for your needs, before you make a purchase.
