Hi! @DB1948, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you have issues printing two-sided from your printer.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Try the steps recommended below.
Set up the duplex print job in the document print settings.
1.To avoid page ordering issues, load enough blank paper into the input tray to fully complete your print job.
2.Open the document you want to print, click File, click Print, and then click Show Details if necessary.
3.Look for a Two-Sided selection box.
If the Two-Sided option is available, your printer supports automatic duplexing. Select the checkbox next to Two-Sided, select Layout from the unnamed menu at the center of the window, select long or short-edge binding from the Two-sided pop-up menu, and then click Print. You do not need to complete the rest of these steps.
• If the Two-Sided option is not available, either your printer does not support automatic duplexing or additional setup is required for your automatic two-sided duplexing accessory. If you know your printer has the accessory, go to the Frequently asked questions to enable it. Otherwise, continue with these steps to manually print on both sides of the page.
4.Before continuing, you need to know your printer type: rear loading or front loading. The page settings you will select depending on what kind of paper tray your printer has.
5.Select Paper Handling from the unnamed menu at the center of the window, and then select Odd Only from the Pages to Print menu.
6.Depending on your printer type, select one of the following settings from the Page Order menu:
• Rear loading paper tray: Select Automatic
• Front loading paper tray: Select Reverse
7.Click Print.
8.When all the pages are printed, remove any remaining unprinted paper from the input tray, and then continue to the next step.
Refer this article to know more information about printing on both sides.
