Design Jet 500 Plus
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello I have a Design Jet 500 Plus that requires a firmware update to become compatible with some new printheads we purchased.

The unit has a GPL expandable memory card in and a jet direct network card.

Via USB from a windows 7 machine the firmware updater picks up the printer via USB and apparently transfers the latest firmware over to the printer allthough this happens suspectly fast.

Nothing happens on the printer after that, no promts or anything, the current screen it default back to after a while is the fact 3 out of the 4 printheads would apear to have a problem. im assuming as they are brand new that the firmware fix would sort that.

The unit is currently on A.03.03 firmware. any help or advice would be great, i have also tried this same process with both the GPL and jet direct card removed, same results unfortunatly.

Many Thanks

Paul
