HP Designjet Z6810 Production Series Large Format Plotter/Printer

I recently acquired a new HPZ6810 Designjet Production Series large format printer at work.  I've got old ink cartridges that I just opened and have been reconditioning (shaking the *bleep* out of) before installing, but they seem to throw a 'Faulty Cartridge' error.  Is there any way to reset these ink wells for use in my HP Z6810 or am I just simply out thousands of dollars?

 

I'd be grateful for any information, thanks in advance.
